Just another Russian scam. RUN AWAY!

I gave one star because there isn't a zero star option…

RUN! THIS IS ANOTHER WELL-POLISHED RUSSIAN SCAM!
If you paid for your reservation with a credit card, then ask for a reimbursement. They will then go after ZenHotels themselves.

I've booked and paid in full for a supposedly non-refundable reservation at Le Petit manoir du Casino de Charlevoix (QC CA) but the hotel never received neither the reservation or the money! The hotel manager took upon herself to check on ZenHotels' identity with all the reservation platforms they do business with. Verdict: none of them new this platform; but this scam is so well organized that Trivago — normally trustworthy from my personal experience — references them. In spite of my experience (being 66 y. Old and having traveled a lot), I jumped on their incredible offer on Trivago without checking on them first and I fell right into the trap.
Magically, as soon as I asked MasterCard to reimburse me and take the matter into their own hands, somebody ‘…with a Slavic accent and a name impossible to pronounce' (said the hotel manager) called her SUPPOSEDLY to finalize the reservation but having demanded a certified check, the person never called her back…

ZenHotel is magical: a hatfull of tricks designed to make your hard-earned money disappear into their pocket!

Tell your national police about ZenHotels: it's another way Russia invented to try and destabilize Western economies while making tons of cash.
I tell you once again: take my advice and RUN!

The worst company

I am tired for more than a month that I canceled my reservation and I have not received my refund they are uni scammers they kept my money I call the bank all day and they tell me that they have not received any refund from zenhotels my reservation number 36926691 a representative called Mohame Ali according to I speak in a bad way they only look for an excuse and excuse and they do not solve you they steal your money that if they are scammers my bank asks me for the swift code of the supposed reimbursement they made but that never came and they never want to send me They reimbursed uni must be giving pity for money they robbed me and they have not returned me I feel scammed I do not recommend them

AWFUL, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Booked a 2 bedroom self catering villa (Pilgrim Cottage - Porth) only to be told 3 weeks prior to us going that we had been double booked and blamed a third party for this mistake. They offered us an alternative accommodation - a standard double room with one bed in a hotel for the SAME price. This was no comparison as there's no way a private villa and a standard double room are the same. Customer service was awful, refused to acknowledge we had booked a private villa and then became very slow at responding when I said I wanted the refund instead of the alternative accommodation. Still in the process of getting a refund from them. AVOID !!!!

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY - AVOID

For my friends who traveling, I want to warn you from that company, I was made reservation in April, and they sent me confirmation about my reservation, I ordered flight ticket, and everything was fine till now. Some days ago, two weeks before my flight, the company ZenHotels talked with me and they said that the hotel didn't confirm my reservation, and I need to cancel it from my side. I was explaining over the phone to one of the employer's, answer the name: Ksenia Demchenko, that my air company will not cancel my flight ticket, now to find another hotel it's will cost me much more money, I also explained that I'm traveling a lot and I know how is the rules in another websites like Booking.com Hotels.com agoda trivago etc. I was giving them also green light to move me to another hotel just to get the same conditions I have. She said I will call you back, but always avoided communicating with me. I got contact with the hotel and then I found out that it's not the hotel the problem. The hotel never got the reservation, the company never confirmed it from her side. And not as Ksenia Demchenko from ZenHotels said, that the hotel was the responsible for my cancellation. They manipulating the clients and make them take the responsibility with money that they will lose in this act. What makes everything so bad is that when I'm trying to contact their costumer service, they avoid me, don't want give me answers, don't want pass me to a manager. Guys I would definitely recommend you to AVOID MAKE RESERVATIONS THERE, you don't want find yourself in the same problem. Years of traveling and I never got to this situation never in my life. First and last experience for me in this website ( app).

Scam

Arrived at the hotel. Never had reservations booked. Was told by the front desk that I was not the only person. They have to investigate. I want my refund.

We are in the hotel to check in.

We are in the hotel to check in.. (rio all suite resort and casino)… then suddenly the front desk told me that our booking may17-may20-21 was cancel.. without notice!!!! They are not send me an email to confirm!!! So i have no choice to book a new one! Becouse we are already there.. pls.. dont ever ever to try to book the hotel on this website!!! Pls pls..dont trust this website..

CUSTOMER BEWARE

CUSTOMERS BEWARE - I booked a trip 3 months in advance and 1 month before, I was emailed that "their VERY COMPLEX software/technology" had an error and that the hotel that was listed was not accurate. So, their issue, not mine, and yet, they told me that my original reservation at the original hotel does not exist and they can offer me a discount of $100 to stay at a different hotel that their error caused. We have points at the original hotel, which is why I we booked it in the first place. After contacting their chat and responding via email, they refused to fix their problem and offered the $100 discount at the worse hotel or to cancel the reservation. What I expected was for them was not to discount an already discounted hotel, rather book the rooms I originally assumed were booked and take the financial hit that way. What zenhotels did was make an excuse for their error, offer a piss poor solution (discount an already cheap hotel or cancel), and basically leave me, the customer, back to square 1 on a trip planned months in advance. DON'T BOOK VIA ZENHOTELS. The price is VERY appealing, but their quality of service is HORRIBLE and reliability is EXTREMELY questionable. They're not very responsive and offer no solution if something goes wrong. Book elsewhere if you can. I definitely DO NOT recommend if you value your money/trip.

Good short night stay near the airport

We had to wait for the shuttle quite a while. The check in was good and professional and the room offered everything we needed for the 1 night. Cleanliness was alright, just the floor in the bathroom could have been done better. The breakfast was good in comparison to other places we stayed at during the pandemic. The hotel has a very nice pool area. We didn't use it but it looked very inviting.

WORST SERVICE EVER

It caused me and my family so much frustration. Without knowing that they are a SCAM SITE, I booked two different rooms then cancelled them due to ZenHotels bad reputation. I booked another two rooms and cancelled because when I called the hotel they said they don't have any records for the reservations. Note that both claimed to have "free cancellation". Yet I still did not get back my money for the 4 ROOMS! I regret ever considering ZenHotels.
